Ndidi A. Okakpu is an accomplished leader specializing in community development and social enterprise. With a rich background in business, nonprofit management, fundraising, and community relations, she is committed to fostering sustainable models for growth toward thriving communities. Ndidi's work focuses on holistic community development, addressing the needs of the most underserved populations.
Her portfolio of clients includes respected organizations such as the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago, Zakat Foundation of America, and Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN). Ndidi's leadership is most notably demonstrated in her role as Director of Operations for the historic 2015 Chicago Mayoral campaign of Jesús "Chuy" Garcia, where she oversaw the operations of 12 campaign.
In her past role as Senior Director of Development at IMAN, Ndidi led a successful team that raised $41 million over 3.5 years, underscoring her strategic expertise in driving fundraising efforts and resource mobilization.
